Use a small flower cookie cutter to cut flower shapes from thin slices of cheese. Try different kinds of cheese to get different

Floral Crudités & Dip
Check your library or cookbooks for directions on cutting vegetables into fancy shapes. Or, cut fresh, washed vegetables into slices or chunks. Try carrots, celery, mushrooms, tomatoes, radishes, broccoli, cauliflower and peppers.
Arrange vegetables in pretty rows on a serving tray. Add a cup of dip. (Buy it, or make your favorite recipe.)
Several hours before serving, clean and trim a few green onions. Cut fringes in the green end. Put them in a bowl of ice water. The green fringes will curl up. Add these to your tray for a pretty garnish. |
